Thinking outside the box is natural to us.. But what we are also great at is offering productive ways to operate within the box, because we understand why the box exists — often times it is budget constraints, sometimes it is about redeveloping a stagnant team, or even as simple as honoring industry standards or past practices. We design systems to help guide your thoughts into fruition.
What’s with the name?
At the height of the pandemic, we came up with a brilliant idea to create a gluten-free bake mix company that also offered curated, small batch pantry items (sample items below). However, as the business plan solidified, we realized that to operate a gluten-free facility in addition to the costly flour alternatives, we would need serious amount of time, research and experience which we unfortunately, did not have. What we do have is our unparalleled passion for food, beverages and service. So instead, we decided to start our own hospitality consulting.
We kept the name Mill + Larder, to remind us, that despite the many challenges that life brings us, we always find ways to make the best of it. And today, we get to share that with you. Thank you for considering us to be part of your next adventure!
